It’s also worth planning ahead for your first dinner in your new home, as you may not have had time to unpack all the kitchen utensils, or go shopping for food. Being prepared is key here as y

Removals Tip Of The Week: #20 Utility Meter Readings
When you are moving to your new home, reading all the utility meters is the last thing you should do before leaving your old home, and the first thing you should do when you get the keys to your new home. Don’t forget any, there could be electric, gas and water meters to read, depending on the property. And depending on the age of the property they could look very different, but are usually located in similar places around the exterior of the property. ScheduleScheduleSchedul

Removals Tip Of The Week: #18 Beware Of Newsprint
When it comes to moving house and packing up all your fragile items, glassware and crockery, using old newspapers and magazine pages to securely pack your precious items may seem like a great cheap packing idea. But use with caution as the old newspaper ink can rub off, causing marks and smudges to older style bone china dinner sets that have porous textures. It can also lead to an awful amount of washing up to do, once you move into the new house and unpack everything again.

Removals Tip Of The Week: #17 When packing food, make sure it’s closed tight
While packing up the kitchen food when you are moving house, man sure you check all jars are sealed properly, all lids are tightly placed on boxes and all bottle caps are secured to avoid any messy accidents happening in your new home. Using packing tape and good sturdy removals boxes where possible will make moving home a lot easier.ScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleScheduleSchedule
